CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Homeowners here are taking an added interest in security following recent terror attacks and thefts around the holidays.
“Folks are becoming more and more aware of the threat level, so folks are saying, ‘We need to upgrade our system,'” Skip Graham of Spy Tech Surveillance told WSOC-TV. “We are having an incredible upsurge.”

Graham said the company has been bombarded with calls for more security cameras. That also coincides with police warnings about package thefts as homes and business owners seek additional viewpoints and clearer monitoring images.
“They want something to catch the bad guy with,” Graham said.
Graham also said companies who didn’t have budgets for security measures before are now making room for it due to the perceived increase in threat level.
