Some more merger and acquisition news has broken this week. ASSA ABLOY announced it acquired Lighthouse, a sectional door and docking distributor based in Charlotte, N.C. The move is seen as a “strategic step” for the company in the United States.

In other news, U.S. Security Associates acquired McRoberts Protective Agency on Monday. McRoberts is the oldest security agency in the U.S., and provides comprehensive, integrated security services, technology, consulting, investigations and training, according to its Web site.
