VideoIQ, Inc., a provider of intelligent surveillance cameras with built-in video recording, has expanded its distribution channel in Asia-Pacific and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets with the signing of two major distribution partners.

Stratel, based in Malaysia, and Bridge 129, based in Italy, are two of the latest distributors to join the VideoIQ roster of partners.

“VideoIQ represents everything a distributor is looking for in a partner – a solid product line that can efficiently and effectively meet customers’ needs, technical excellence and reliability, and a full-featured training program that allows us to get quickly up to speed on their solutions,” says Philip Saint-Pere, managing director of Stratel.

Since the launch of its flagship video surveillance solution, the VideoIQ iCVR, the company has experienced increased demand for the product worldwide, fueling the extension of its distribution channel into new markets.

Bridge 129 and Stratel are leading distribution partners in their respective markets in electronic security equipment.

“VideoIQ has seen a heightened need for intelligent video surveillance solutions, particularly with terrorism and the poor economic climate that is often rife with increased acts of violence and theft,” says Scott Schnell, president and CEO of VideoIQ. “I’m proud to welcome Stratel and Bridge 129 to this mix.”
