Videology Imaging Solutions of Greenville, R.I., introduces the Pixim Seawolf wide dynamic range (WDR) color camera. Available in two models (the 20C40XW and the 20C708W), the camera uses Seawolf chip technology so there is no trade-off between WDR and low-light sensitivity, according to the company. In addition, the Seawolf chip preserves high-quality color images when recording and reviewing.
Featuring 690 TVL, the company maintains that the cameras use 10 times the low-light performance of traditional analog CCDs, with 0.1 lux sensitivity. Additionally, the product has a dynamic range to 120dB, global shutter and 3-D motion adaptive noise reduction (DNR).
