Viscount Systems Inc. has signed an agreement to distribute
its products in major U.S. markets through TYCO’s security
distribution subsidiary Tri-Ed Ltd. Tri-Ed has branches in
Canada and across the United States.
The agreement places Viscount security products in all 27
Canadian and U.S. branches, including Denver, Dallas,
Phoenix, Seattle and in six California locations. Viscount
says its brand will be actively promoted through
cooperative Tri-Ed programs. Initially, Viscount will
provide product displays for each branch and product
listings in the upcoming North American Tri-Ed catalogue.
“This deal provides Viscount excellent coverage in a number
of major U.S. centers that have been identified as key
markets for new Viscount products,” says Stephen Pineau,
President and CEO of Viscount.
