Visionics Corp., a developer of face-recognition technology worldwide, announces that Printrak Intl. has adopted FaceIt(r) technology to provide facial recognition capabilities for its Imagetrak(tm) intelligent image management system. “This is further validation that FaceIt has indeed become the de facto standard for rapidly and accurately searching through facial images in the law enforcement market. Imagetrak is an automated photo imaging application that integrates with Printrak’s comprehensive product suites and allows law enforcement agencies to efficiently capture, store, organize and manage digital images and descriptor data for creating lineups, rap sheets and wanted posters. “Facial recognition technology has become a standard component for this type of law enforcement product.
