Visonic Ltd. of Bloomfield, Conn., a Tyco Security Products company, releases the MC-302E PG2, a two-way wireless magnetic contact transmitter designed to product doors and windows.
The product features a built-in reed switch and an auxiliary hard-wired input into a single compact and elegant housing design, according to the company. Featuring the company’s PowerG two-way frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology, the product uses an auxiliary input for additional devices for situations where there is a need for two detectors in a single point of entry.
Additionally, the contact employs AES-128 (128 bit key) advanced encryption algorithm for correct message identification and protects the alarm system from code grabbing and other attacks.
