Vitek Industrial Video Products Inc. of Valencia, Calif., releases the VT-LTR13V, a laser optical video transmission system, specifically designed for elevator CCTV surveillance applications.
The product transmits DVD quality video using an optical laser. Because of this, cabling complexity, installation costs, and maintenance issues are drastically reduced, according to the company. With a much longer lifespan than traditional moving coaxial cable, video transmission systems, the elevators operation, security, and safety are also increased, Vitek says.
