Vivint Names New CFO

PROVO, Utah — Vivint has appointed Mark Davies as the company’s new CFO. Davies will lead the firm’s financial teams, streamline processes, and create business plans for Vivint’s investments, funding sources and financial transactions.

Before joining Vivint, Davies worked at Alcoa, a producer of primary and fabricated aluminum, where he served as the executive vice president and president of global business services, the chief procurement officer, and as a member of executive council. His responsibilities included implementing new information technology and shared services strategies to drive growth and profitability for the entire company.

Prior to Alcoa, Davies served as managing vice president of strategic programs for Dell Inc. and helped lead the company’s global business transformation. He also served as CFO of Dell’s Global Consumer Group. He has also worked for Hewlett Packard in financial operations, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and accounting for a number of international operations.
