PROVO, Utah — Vivint Chief Revenue Officer Todd Santiago has received kudos as one of Utah Business magazine’s CXO of the Year honorees.
Santiago is recognized for his leadership in driving record growth, building a data-driven sales organization and diversifying the company’s sales channels, according to a press release.
The CXO of the Year awards are given to senior executives for outstanding performance in their roles. The selected executives demonstrate the importance of providing strong financial leadership, visionary innovation and social responsibility to Utah businesses.
“Todd is a vital member of our management team and has built a premier sales and business development organization,” says Alex Dunn, president of Vivint Smart Home. “His leadership has powered Vivint’s rapid growth over the past several years, and his vision and strategic foresight have helped position us for sustained long-term success.”
Santiago is credited for leading sales and business development efforts at Vivint since joining the company in 2013. He oversees the company’s direct-to-home sales force and inside sales team, as well as its channel partnerships and development of new sales channels.
Santiago recently led the company’s strategic partnership with Best Buy for a nationwide rollout of a joint smart home service in more than 400 retail stores this year. His leadership has been pivotal in establishing Vivint a leading leading smart home services provider in North America with more than 1.2 million customers and $758 million in revenue in 2016.
Before joining Vivint, Santiago served as president of 2GIG, a pioneer in smart home security and automation systems that Nortek purchased in 2013 for $135 million.
The CXO of the Year honorees are featured in the magazine’s June issue.
