Vivint Listed on Forbes’ ‘America’s Best Employers’ List
Vivint was the top-ranked security and home automation company on Forbes’ list.
Vivint has been named as one of America's best employers by Forbes.
PROVO, Utah – Summer sales model alarm company Vivint, has been named to Forbes’ inaugural “America’s Best Employers” list.
Forbes gathered the top 500 employers in America through an independent survey by Statistia.com. This anonymous survey asked as many as 20,000 participants, who work for U.S. companies and institutions with a minimum of 2,500 employees and U.S. divisions of international firms, if they would recommend their employer, or any other employers in their industry, to a potential employee. The sample collected was representative of the overall U.S. workforce.

As part of this study, more than 3,500 companies were represented, with Forbes creating a list of the top 500 firms. In addition to making the first-time list, Vivint was also the top-ranked security and home automation company.

Recognized on Forbes’ “Most Promising Companies” list in 2013, Vivint has more than 7,000 employees, and offers smart home solutions with intelligent locks, lights, cameras and thermostats to homeowners throughout the nation.
The firm supports Blackstone’s Veterans Initiative to hire 50,000 American veterans across its portfolio of companies within the next five years. Blackstone to acquired Vivint for $2 billion in September 2012.
