Vivotek of San Jose, Calif., launches its 360° panoramic pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) camera, which incorporates the company’s latest 5-megapixel fisheye fixed dome network cameras SF8172/72V and a 2-megapixel full HD speed dome network camera SD8362E.
The solution provides a 180° panoramic view or 360° surround view without blind spots, allowing users to simultaneously monitor an overview from a fisheye model and a detailed regional view from a speed dome.
The cameras are equipped with high megapixel resolution sensors, removable infrared (IR)-cut filters, and wide dynamic range (WDR) technology and are able to cope with challenging lighting conditions, according to the company. Enclosed with IP66-rated housings the SD8362E can withstand a wide temperature range between -40°C and 55°C, while the SF8172V, with a vandal-proof IK10-rated housing, can resist physical damage.
