SAN JOSE, Calif. — Vivotek announced Thursday that it will not exhibit at ISC West due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic concerns.
“At Vivotek USA, Inc., the health and safety of all employees is number one priority during this time of national and global crisis,” David Liu, president of Vivotek USA, states in the announcement. “As such, we have decided to cancel our participation at the 2020 ISC West show. We look forward to meeting with our industry partners, friends, and customers face-to-face at such events when these health concerns have been alleviated.”
Vivotek markets its video surveillance wares worldwide, including network cameras, video servers, NVRs, PoE solutions and video management software. The company has strategic alliances with leading international software and hardware partners and works with more than 183 authorized distributors across 116 countries.
After initially being postponed this past Spring until July 20-22, ISC West was postponed a second time and is scheduled to be held Oct. 5-8 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. The event will be co-located with the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), another event by Reed Exhibitions that services the commercial casino and tribal gaming industry.
The ISC West website lists the following show highlights:
- The SIA Education@ISC West Conference Program will kick off one day prior to exhibit hall opening per usual on Monday, Oct. 5, and run through Wednesday, Oct. 7. SIA Committee Meetings and the SIA Market Leaders Reception will also take place on Oct. 5.
- The ISC West Exhibit Hall will be open starting Tuesday, Oct. 6, and run through Thursday, Oct. 8, with standard operational hours.
- The ISC West Keynote Series will take place Oct. 6-7, with the SIA Women in Security Forum Breakfast event taking place on the final day of ISC West, Oct. 8.
