Alarm company Voxcom Security Systems has expanded its
account base by buying the operations of Calgary-based
Stealth Alarm Systems Inc. Terms of the deal, which
bolsters Edmonton-based Voxcom’s account base by 16,000,
were not released. Voxcom provides alarm monitoring
services for residential
and commercial customers and runs an authorized dealer
program throughout Canada.
Voxcom President and CEO Brad Sparrow told the Edmonton Sun that Stealth’s 20 employees will be offered employment at Voxcom and protection of Stealth customers will remain uninterrupted.
“It’s going to enable us to further leverage our existing operations and our authorized dealer network,” Sparrow told the Sun.
