SAN MATEO, Calif. — The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal has named network intelligence optimization company VSS Monitoring as one of the 2011 top 50 fastest-growing private companies in Silicon Valley.
VSS designs and manufactures more than 180 products to make network intelligence more scalable for networks. As more corporations upgrade to costly network monitoring appliances from 1G to 10G, the company has seen an increase in business, VSS Monitoring CEO Martin Breslin says.
“There are a significant number of corporations upgrading to 10Gbps networks,” he says. “The network operation and security teams are challenged with proactively gaining access to many critical data connections. Our solutions help customers to protect their investment while achieving total visibility of all their network traffic.”
The company will find out its ranking during the Oct. 13 awards banquet at the Computer History Museum. Rankings are based on a company’s annual growth percentage.
“This recognition confirms our position in the marketplace,” Breslin says. “It also proves our dedication to lowering customers’ total cost of ownership of their networks.”
