Wheelock Inc. was recently awarded ISO 9001/2000 certification for its facilities located in Long Branch and Oceanport, N.J., as well as its warehousing and distribution operations in Neptune, N.J.
OMI, a North American management systems registrar, awarded Wheelock the certification that declares a firm has implemented and maintains a quality management system for the design, manufacturer and testing of electronic assemblies and systems.
Wheelock’s assemblies are commonly used in the life-safety, facility communication and security industries.
The ISO9001 registration also certifies that Wheelock follows a dedicated process-oriented approach with strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. This includes the reduction and elimination of system redundancies, development of a system with more management support, streamlining of document control, improvement of product transportation issues, and the implementation of the highest levels of globally-recognized management system standards.
