Readers of Surveillance Videos of the Week of a certain age will no doubt remember the movie that launched Matthew Broderick to stardom — no, not “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (although that remains one of the best movies of all time), but 1983’s “War Games.”

This week, the White House apparently released a teaser for the sequel to that classic flick, intermingling real footage of the war in Iran with clips from classic Nintendo Wii Sports games in an effort to show how the attacks are meeting or exceeding every expectation by the administration.

The viral social media video was met with mixed reactions, but certainly got attention from all around the globe.

We also saw footage of a car going through the front window of a Texas barber shop and dolphins swimming in the East River in New York.
