Wireless Emergency System Offers Help for Impaired Users

The PERS-3600 by Linear LLC of Carlsbad, Calif., is a new personal emergency reporting system for the elderly, those who have a medical problem or those who live alone. The system is wireless and can be used to signal an emergency phone call to a 24/7 central station using plain old telephone system (POTS) technology.

The PERS-3600 will receive up to 16 panic-button transmitters, and it has a large HELP button on the front of the main console.
