ZKAccess, a division of ZKTechnology of Piscataway, N.J., introduces the MB700, a face recognition and fingerprint access control reader, which can operate in standalone mode and can be interfaced to any panel using Weigand output, according to the company.

The multi-biometric standalone access control reader can hold and match up to 400 faces, 5,000 fingerprints, 10,000 card holders and 50,000 logs in its memory. It can operate independent of the computer and can enroll and delete the users on the reader using the touch screen.

The product can also augment the security in an existing access control installation with card readers by using Weigand output from the reader.
