FAIRFIELD, N.J. — ZKAccess, a provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, announces the release of SmartLPR, its latest access control model designed specifically for parking facilities.
This license plate recognition camera is designed to improve security for parking facilities while providing greater safety and convenience for drivers, according to the company.
The SmartLPR Access camera can operate completely stand-alone. With a built-in OCR engine and relay contact, the LPR camera is weatherproof and can be connected directly to the parking facility gate/barrier without the need for a separate controller or software. SmartLPR Access also features a built-in Web server for remote access and facilities remote lens focus and zoom adjustment and setting configuration.
It comes with auto-synchronize settings for multi-camera installations, and plug & play connectors so there’s no need to open the camera housing, according to ZKAccess. Its OCR engine recognizes plates from all over the world and provides Black-listed plate notification.
