Editor’s Choice: Steve’s Favorite Articles, Videos & Slideshows From 2019

SSI Web/Senior Editor Steve K. shares his faves from 2019, which range from smart home hacks, to robot assaults and everything in between.

If you are reading this, congratulations, you have impeccable taste! But seriously, thank you for taking time out of your day to browse this list that what you may or may not already know will be full of ludicrous security-related stories.

Actually, not all of them are ludicrous. But if you know me, you know I tend to gravitate to stories that are odd or quirky (I still can’t believe this happened).

Below are a handful of stories, videos and slideshows that I found most interesting in 2019. You’ll find plenty of year-end compilations on this site about trends and the state of the industry (you can find them all at the bottom of this page). My goal is simply to entertain you.

Thanks again for reading, and have a happy and prosperous New Year!
