Linear of Carlsbad, Calif., releases the model WT00Z, a three-way Z-Wave smart switch, which allows security system installers to offer customers a home control lighting function.
When paired with a 2GIG Go!Control system, or other brand of home automation controller, the product allows remote on/off control and dimming for up to other Z-Wave controlled lights.
Because the device does not directly control a load, it can serve as a virtual three-way switch and be wired anywhere power is available, without the need for a traveler wire, according to the company.
