HID Global is bringing to bear Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and IoT technology it acquired from Bluvision in the form of Location Services and Condition Monitoring.

HID’s Anjanette Brennan explained at GSX that features include automated alerts by monitoring unauthorized access, and arrival/departure in defined areas. Among other feature sets, customers can improve energy efficiency to record ambient temperature, lighting and door motion; plus, achieve enhanced emergency response and readiness with an accurate headcount during building evacuation.
