AMP Smart Execs Tackle Business Challenges, Opportunities & More

In this edition of the Security Speaking podcast, leadership from AMP Smart discuss the company’s rapid growth, the strength of its direct sales methodology and much more.

From struggling to keep accounts at its inception to becoming the country’s 13th-largest residential security company, Utah-based AMP Smart has come a long way since it was founded in 2007.

In fact, the company completed a growth capital investment round with Seacoast Capital and St. Cloud Capital earlier this year. The investment, together with AMP’s renewed senior debt facility, provides the company with a growth capital structure in excess of $60 million.

To get the scoop on AMP’s fast rise, SSI Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine spoke with and AMP CEO Allen Bolen and COO Dave Bolen, as well as CFO Robert Moe.

The trio discuss how AMP evolved into the major player it is today, how the pandemic has pushed them harder to stay on track, the strength of the firm’s direct sales methodology, key market differentiators and what’s hottest in the smart home arena.
