130dB Siren Sends 3 Different Tones Across 100-Foot Area

Federal Signal Corp. of University Park, Ill., introduces its Model 2001-130 outdoor warning siren that produces130dB of sound at 100 feet. Its stator/horn design allows efficient high-output operation from minimal battery source.

It can be operated with a 120VAC battery back-up control cabinet or a 240VAC/DC control cabinet. The siren can be controlled remotely via wire or radio with the Model FC controller. This redesigned outdoor warning siren produces three distinctly different tones: wail, fast wail and steady.  According to Federal Signal, it is suited for wide area coverage with high decibel output and attention-getting signals.
