Speco Technologies HS Series Hybrid DVR
Speco Technologies of Amityville, N.Y., releases the HS hybrid digital video recorder, which eases the transition from analog to IP by allowing users of 960H analog systems to easily convert to an IP system, according to the company.
The hybrid DVR supports real-time 30 frames per second per channel for 960H and full HD (1920 x 1080p) recording, and up to 5-megapixel resolution on the last channel. The HS also utilizes the company’s Speco’s Digital Deterrent technology – audio messaging to help assist in preventing crime.
The unit also supports an optional USB wireless access point for viewing and configuration. A wireless access point-to-point connection to the DVR from a mobile or network device is used for viewing and configuring the DVR where physical access to the DVR is limited or restricted.
