6 New Security Products to Watch Out For
Amityville, N.Y.-based Speco Technologies introduces its first camera to be released in the new line of Speco Connect WiFi solutions, the OC21. It’s a full HD 1080p Wi-Fi IP camera that is used for residential and small business applications.
Featuring H.265 compression, the OC21 is said to use approximately 40% less network bandwidth and storage compared to H.264. The camera also includes IR LEDs for true day/night operation, a wide-angle lens, a built-in microphone and speaker for real-time two-way audio, and a magnetic base for placement.
According to the company, the OC21 offers flexible recording options, where users have the choice to record to SecureGuard VMS, NS/HS/HT recorders, edge recording to an onboard micro SD card or local PC recording through a Web browser.
