9 Security Cameras to Surveil at ISC West 2015
The BioCam300 by ZKAccess is an IP-based standalone access control camera that combines long-range facial recognition, video surveillance, time and attendance, all in a single device.
The company claims the device does not require a computer or panel. Additionally, the camera does not require any special wiring and can also be tied into any existing third-party Wiegand panel.
The BioCam300 unlocks doors upon positive face recognition once authorized users walk within 12 feet of it. Its built-in infrared illuminators ensure accurate face recognition even in low-light conditions, according to the company.
Other features include: 400 face capacity, dual HD CMOS cameras with audio output and alarm output and a seven-inch LCD display incorporated with the HD IP camera. The device also offers access control with built-in relays for door locks and inputs for REX and door contact and HD IP video recording which supports a 32GB SD Card or external NVR.
