Addressable Fire Panel Contains Integral DACT and Power Supply
Fire-Lite Alarms of Northford, Conn., releases the MS-9050UD addressable fire alarm control panel with integral digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT) and power supply. The single circuit board construction makes the MS-9050UD more compact than component-type systems, which means it is smaller and easier to install. The DACT transmits alarm, trouble and supervisory signals using the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
The product contains a single signaling line circuit (SLC) to which addressable modules attach. The control panel has a potential of 50 addressable devices, which includes any combination of addressable detectors and control devices, such as relay circuit boards. The system meets NFPA Style 4, 6 and 7 requirements.
