Advanced Technology Video Unveils 2-Megapixel Vandal Dome Camera

The camera, part of the ATV IP Series product line, provides 1920 X 1080 resolution.

COPPELL, Texas — Advanced Technology Video (ATV), a provider of video surveillance solutions, announces the release of its new IPVD2RWI 2-megapixel vandal dome camera as an addition to the ATV IP Series product line.

The new 2-megapixel IPVD2RWI vandal dome camera is equipped with a motorized 3-9mm vari-focal auto-iris lens with a 1/2.8-inch Sony Exmor CMOS sensor. It provides 1920 X 1080 resolution and is said to deliver triple video streams simultaneously at 30ips using H.264 compression.

The camera has 24 IR LEDs for a maximum viewing range of 60 feet and 3D-DNR, which ATV says works to reduce noise and motion blur. Other features of the IVD2RWI include the new corridor/aisle view orientation function, true day/night, true wide dynamic range, two-way audio and video analytic functions. The camera is also IP66 rated, ATV says, and includes a built-in heater and supports onboard storage with a Micro-SD card slot and powers through PoE, 12VDC and 24VAC.

Like all ATV IP cameras, ONVIF Profile S compliance is guaranteed and is complemented with ATV’s ATVision IP remote management software featuring video monitoring, playback, recording, setup, pan/tilt/zoom control, system upgrade, MAP integration and multi-site system health monitoring.
