Aiphone IPW-1A IP-based Intercom
Bellevue, Wash.-based Aiphone’s IPW-1A IP-based intercom offers high-quality audio intercom function over TCP/IP-based networks. Designed specifically for use with new or existing LAN or WAN infrastructure, the IPW-1A functions with any of Aiphone’s IE- or IF-series door stations using a PC as an intercom master.
An unlimited number of IPW-1As have the ability to fulfill a large variety of applications including commercial, industrial, and residential access control. The IPW-1A can also be used with general security, office, and institutional intercom paging.
Each IPW-1A includes Aiphones CommuniCenter software, which allows PCs to communicate with an unlimited number of door stations using the IPW-1A. Other features of the CommuniCenter software include remote door release activation, messaging at the door when PCs are unoccupied or the system is otherwise busy, group calling, event logging and voice recording.
