Aiphone Corp. Introduces IX MOBILE App
The app receives calls from any IX Series units and view any door and emergency stations.
BELLEVUE, Wash. — Aiphone Corp., a manufacturer of intercom and entry security products, introduces a mobile app for smart phones and tablets designed to integrate with the second generation of IP intercoms, the IX Series.
The IX MOBILE app can receive calls from any IX Series units (including the IX-MV master), view any door and emergency stations, as well as other instances of IX MOBILE. The IX MOBILE can activate the release contacts of any unit to which it has established communication. It also has four programmable buttons for commonly used functions, according to Aiphone.
The IX MOBILE is available on Android- and Apple-based devices.
The IX Series allows buildings, parking facilities and large campuses to improve efficiency by controlling security needs from either a central location or remote user, according to the company.
