All-Weather Day/Night Camera Has Photocell and Mechanical Filters
The EX14MNX all-environment integrated day/night camera by Extreme CCTV Int’l of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, incorporates a photocell-controlled mechanical filter CCD for daytime color performance as well as high-efficiency, spatially optimized light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for 40 feet of viewing for night vision operations.
According to Extreme CCTV, the EX14MNX also includes a varifocal, auto-iris lens that enables the camera to operate under almost any lighting condition. Also, the environmental housing is designed for extreme environments and is made of a completely insulated injection-molded ABS nylon resin enclosure that is suited for wet, corrosive environments as well as hot and cold locations.
