Axis Q7404 High Performance Video Encoder
Chelmsford, Mass.-based Axis Communications’ four-channel standalone video encoder has H.264 video compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. The video encoder integrates four analog CCTV cameras into an IP-based video surveillance system.
The product offers intelligent video capabilities such as enhanced video motion detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection. Each video channel has two configurable inputs/outputs for connections to external devices such as sensors and relays, which enable the system to receive and respond to alarms.
