BCDVideo Recording Servers With Embedded Recovery
The access control and IP video recording servers by BCDVideo of Northbrook, Ill., now feature the company’s SMARTrecovery technology, an embedded recovery module.
The technology allows the system to restore the server to the original BCDVideo factory image in cases of disaster recovery. It also eliminates the user’s need to search for restore media and allows technicians to easily walk through the recovery process remotely, with no need for an onsite technician, according to the company.
The BCDVideo systems are built exclusively on the Hewlett Packard platform, allowing the products to leverage HP’s Intelligent Provisioning and onboard secure media.
