C-MOR VM Series IP Video Surveillance NVR System
C-MOR Inc. of Lake Forest, Calif., releases the VM Series network video recorder (NVR) system that runs on a virtual machine (VM) guest operating system (OS), utilizing existing computer hardware.
By installing free VM downloads from VMware, Oracle and Xen, C-MOR video surveillance NVR software can operate on any host OS, including Windows, Linux and OS X. The system allows users to remotely record and view live recordings via Web-enabled devices.
The platform supports up to 90 IP cameras from a wide range of manufacturers, and can be accessed from any of the popular Internet browsers running on common operating systems.
