Decoder Makes Image Control Easier in Command Centers
Dedicated Micros Inc. of Chantilly, Va., releases the DV-IP decoder for enterprise-size video security installations. Instead of using the video walls approach, each decoder is capable of supporting up to five CCTV monitors, thus saving viable space in a control room. Video can be viewed across a series of monitors using the network as a transport system.
The DV-IP is an integral component of Dedicated Micros’ new Pick-a-Point video matrix solution. Image control in command centers is made easier using the DV-IP. The unit is designed to enhance the NetVu connected range of products by allowing live video viewing from the DV-IP server, DV-IP ATM, the new DS2 and TransVu.
