Devices Boost Available Power, Provide Synchronization
The HPF24S6 and HPF24S8 by Honeywell Power Products of Northford, Conn., deliver 6A or 8A respectively through four class B or two class A output circuits and can be easily expanded to four class A circuits with the addition of an add-on module. Both power supplies can be used in standalone mode or triggered by any 12V or 24V fire alarm control panel.
Both the HPF24S6 and HPF24S8 have built-in strobe synchronization protocols for a broad selection of strobes. The output of each supply is regulated and filtered in order to drive the widest range of system peripheral devices. Both also contain a battery charger capable of maintaining the charge on rechargeable batteries with a capacity of up to 18A hours (AH).
