DMP X1 Series Controller Gains Auto-Unlock Suppress, Temporary Schedules & More
DMP says the latest software update for its X1 Series Controller and Virtual Keypad app combines smarter security and convenience.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP announces a software update for its X1 Series Controller, Virtual Keypad app and VirtualKeypad.com that will bring a host of new features.
Auto-Unlock Suppress adds a new layer of security for end-users. Doors can be grouped on the X1 to automatically lock and unlock according to their programmed schedules. Now, until a valid user opens the doors for the first time in that schedule, the doors will remain locked.
DMP says if there’s bad weather or any other reason to delay personnel, this new Auto-Unlock Suppress feature gives end-users the peace of mind knowing their businesses will remain secure.
The new Manager First feature allows users to specify if a group must first enter a door before other groups. This is said to help eliminate concerns over employees being in their workplaces without supervision.
Virtual Keypad now enables users to create Temporary Schedules for occasions when customers may need to unlock doors for a specific event or a temporary timeframe. This schedule will override any existing schedule for every door within that schedule.
In the X1 Connection Settings page, the DHCP network information can now be seen whether or not DHCP is turned on. When DHCP is turned on, the network information displays even though it is not editable. When DHCP is changed to Static, the values become editable.
Additionally, with Version 214, an X1 Access Controller can process OSDP readers with more than one mark byte packet which includes a wider range of OSDP readers.
