Door Prop Sounds Local Alarm With Built-in Sounder, Signals
Dortronics Systems of Sag Harbor, N.Y., introduces its 7281-EA door prop and exit alarm.
This unit activates a local alarm with a built-in sounder and signals an independent system with a relay output if the door has not been closed within the allotted time. As an alarm timer, it can be configured to monitor emergency exit doors, providing an alarm when the door is opened, even if the door is immediately re-closed. Additionally, the built-in timer is field adjustable, providing a delay time from 2 to 60 seconds. The time delay will begin upon restoration of the trigger input to normal state.
