Exit Control Locks Get Illuminated Text, Steel Paddle
Detex Corp. of New Braunfels, Texas, manufacturer and distributor of life-safety, loss prevention and security door hardware for commercial properties, introduces a new feature to its ECL-230 family of exit control locks. It has added a steel paddle with luminescent, glow-in-the-dark text to the product line.
According to Detex, in wide use on exit doors from retail stores to hotels to medical facilities, ECL-230 locks are now enhanced by text that can be easily seen and read in the dark, and can be ordered in most languages. The steel paddle is even more durable than before and included on all ECL-230 orders, or as an upgrade kit for existing installations. All locks can be ordered in black or standard gray finish, and are code compliant.
