Facial Biometric Technology Monitors Human Movement
Reading, Pa.-based SafetyCare announces the release of SafeTrak, facial biometric technology to monitor human movement. The product opens and locks doors allowing authorized person to pass through access points within a facility. The product creates unique identification numbers for each user that triggers a facial biometric match. Cameras within a facility capture facial images, compare those images to information in the system and grants access when a match is confirmed.
The product will also notify security personnel when an unauthorized person attempts to access a restricted area. The product has received UL central station listing.
