Fire Panel Upgrades Include Laptop Programming, More Sync Protocols
The expanded IFP Series of products by Silent Knight of Maple Grove, Minn., offer improved features and benefits, and conform to new standards mandated by UL. These expanded products represent an upgrade to the existing IFP line of products, including the IFP-50, IFP-100, IFP-1000 and VIP models.
The line supports synchronization of System Sensor A/V notification appliances in addition to Gentex, Wheelock and Hochiki. A USB port was added for laptop programming. In addition, the company maintains that all products in the IFP line now upload/download five times faster because of the use of KnightLink data compression software upgrades. The IFP-1000 also contains an upgraded power supply capable of 6A.
