Firetide HotPort 7000 Mesh Nodes
Firetide of Los Gatos, Calif., releases the HotPort 7000 MIMO-based wireless infrastructure mesh. This product delivers throughput of up to 400 Mbps indoors and 300 Mbps outdoors, according to the company.
Available in indoor and outdoor models, each model contains dual-radios software configurable to the 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz, and 5 GHz frequency spectrums. Firetide’s AutoMesh routing protocol enables delivery of multiple high-speed services over wireless including IP video surveillance, VoIP, and data backhaul. Integrated spectrum analysis and antenna alignment software tools support easier deployments, the company says.
