Hanwha Releases New WiseNet Q Series Security Cameras
The 24-camera line features H.265 compression and WiseStream compression technology.
RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. — Hanwha Techwin America announces its new WiseNet Q Series cameras, featuring H.265 codec.
The 24 camera models in the Q Series include the company’s WiseStream compression technology, which Hanwha says balances image quality and compression based on motion within a scene.
The company also says combining the H.265 compression and the WiseStream technology reduces bandwidth consumption and storage costs compared to H.264.
The cameras come in 2-megapixel and 4-megapixel resolution. Hanwha says the video surveillance solution can be used for education, banks, retail, offices, healthcare, corporate facilities and municipal surveillance.
The WiseNet cameras also include true wide dynamic range, hallway view and lens distortion correction.
