Honeywell Wi-Fi Repeater Extender
The Wi-Fi repeater extender (WREX) by Honeywell of Melville, N.Y., extends Wi-Fi signals, expanding the number of locations in homes and businesses where security dealers can install Wi-Fi IP cameras. WREX fills the signal gap by repeating the existing Wi-Fi signals to help eliminate dead zones, according to the company.
The WREX comes as a plug-and-play device that is ready for deployment out of the box. A push-button Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS) and an available wired Ethernet connection helps integrators to easily configure the product, according to the company. The device conforms to the most popular wireless standards, including 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11 b.
