Hybrid Recorder Works With Analog and Digital Network Products
GE Securityof Bradenton, Fla., announces the hybrid SymDec 16 plus 4, a recordingdevice that works with both conventional analog cameras and the newfamily of GE digital network products. The product records full-sizeimages in real-time on 16 analog and four digital channels.
The SymDec 16 plus 4 uses MPEG-4 compression and records at 30fps, per channel at a resolution of 720 X 540 TVL.The recorders use dynamic IP addressing (DHCP) and support dynamicdomain name server (DDNS) for access through an easy-to-remember nameinstead of IP address.
