iControl Networks of Redwood City, Calif., and NETGEAR of San Jose, Calif., have joined forces to launch the NETGEAR Security Touch Screen (STS7000), a new Android touchscreen for iControl Connect solutions.
The seven-inch screen is designed to offer end-users superior WiFi performance with fast 802.11n speeds and 2×2 WiFi, helping to ensure reliable connectivity to the dedicated home security network, according to the company.
Utilizing the Android operating system, the STS7000 comes with a failsafe mechanism to support over-the-air software upgrades, a removable and replaceable battery for extended device life, and a robust industrial design with durability to help protect the device from the inside out.
