Infrared Technology Illuminates Critical CCTV Applications
Extreme CCTV of Bellingham, Wash., has released its Black Diamond line, a series of infrared illuminators designed to enable night vision for critical CCTV applications. It is designed to provide even illumination, asymmetric optimization and micro-refraction lens technologies to deliver high-fidelity lighting. It eliminates over and under-exposure, dramatically increases both the range and horizontal beam width of illumination and minimizes power consumption. According to Extreme CCTV, this allows for proper nighttime function of video analytics.
Black Diamond won “Best New Video Device” at this year’s Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) held at ISC West.
