Input Capability Connects 4 Analog Cameras to 1 Encoder

Wayne, N.J.-based JVCCo. of America announces the VN-E4U, a DVR with inputcapability that enables facilities to connect up to four analog camerasto one encoder, reducing overall system costs and operations.The product’s motion-JPEG image output provides resolutionsof up to 640 X 480 pixels with a maximum frame rate of 30 fps.

Additionally, the product encoder’s built-in Webserver allows connection of the surveillance system directly to theInternet. The multicasting capability enables access to video images onany monitor and system on a network with virtually no frame ratedegeneration when accessed by multiple users, according to the company.
